Directory of Current and Previous Issues

One of the goals of the Sophia Center is to provide a means of exchange of personal reflections on contemporary culture from the perspectives of the great religious traditions. We hope to provide a forum for thoughtful personal statements which grow out of the direct experiences in the work, professional, and artistic lives of men and women who are engaged in the secular culture and who wish to live their lives within the spirituality of the Christian, Jewish or Muslim traditions. Of course, in the contemporary world all of us need to benefit from the wisdom of all the world's religions, but our primary focus is on the Abrahamic religious traditions. These personal essays are meant to stimulate conversation, and we invite anyone who wishes to join an ongoing dialogue to register (at the appropriate place on the site).
